Chinese Reverse Painting on Glass – Four Women Fishing from a Scenic Garden Bridge
A beautifully colorful Chinese reverse painting on glass depicting four elegantly dressed women fishing from an architectural garden bridge.
The women are shown in traditional dress, each engaged in the leisurely activity of fishing, with long poles extending toward the water below. The scene combines graceful figures with a dramatic blue sky, flowing water, lush foliage, and an elegant Chinese garden bridge.
The brilliant blue, coral, peach, green, and gold tones give the work an especially attractive jewel-like appearance. The composition has the peaceful, leisurely quality associated with traditional Chinese garden scenes.
